Joab Snook Family

Joab Snook was born on Dec 28, 1794 in NJ.  Joab married Maria Scott the daughter of David & Margaret Hillis Scott Jun., 1833 at Greene Co., OH. Maria was born Jun. 15, 1805, Fayette Co., KY.  She died Mar. 15, 1884 at Curtisville, IN. He died on Oct 07, 1868 in Tipton, IN. Joab and Maria are both buried in Curtisville Cemetery, Curtisville, IN.

Joab & Maria Scott Snook had 4 children:

Caroline Snook was born on Aug 27, 1834 in Ohio. She married Hiram Boolman on Mar 01, 1852 in Greene Co., OH. Caroline died on Oct 01, 1915 in Chicago, Cook, IL.  Burial in Clifton Cem., Clifton, OH.

Charles E. Snook was born on Mar 08, 1836 in Clifton, OH. He married Elizabeth A. Rhodes on Dec 03, 1857 in Greene Co., OH.  Military Service Bet. May 1864–Jul 1865 (Co. F 168 Regt. OH Vol.). He died on Feb 27, 1921 at Curtisville, IN.

William Snook was born on Jun 16, 1842 in Greene Co., OH. He married Mary E. Armstrong on Sep 01, 1875 in Tipton Co., IN. William  died on Sep 02, 1877 at Kokomo, IN. 

Rachel Snook was born on Mar. 9, 1844 in Ohio. She married John Anderson Thornton on Feb 14, 1866.  Rachel died on Oct. 27, 1917 at Washington Court House, Fayette Co., OH and was buried at Washington Court House, Fayette Co., OH.
