Per Linda Haile Meyers Louis died in a German Prisoner of War camp.  Per NARA records Lewis was captured by the Germans Dec 20, 1944 and detained in Camp #089; Lewis M. Haile served in the U. S. Army Service # 36371802 110th Infantry Regiment, 28th Infantry Division, Died Non-Battle rank at death: PFC  

3. George R. Haile was born on Jun 18, 1923 in Kingston, IL. George married Grace M. Beeson on Nov 04, 1956 at Sioux City, IA. He died on Feb 03, 1994 in Omaha, NE.

4. Edward John Haile. He was born on May 06, 1925 in IL. He married Hazel Mae Wallin on Mar 17, 1945 in Winnebago Co., IL. He died on Apr 22, 1992.
