Wayne Wanderer.
Mrs. Emma Iddings Montgall, Roy,Wash:—Time to write a few lines to the Pink Press. While many have gone from old Wayne since we left, some married and some have gone to the great beyond to wait our coming. Mr. Montgall left Illinois in 1873 with his mother and the rest of the family, and in the year of 1888 came to Roy, Wash, and been in the butcher business most of the time. Will Montgall lives at Alder and runs a saw mill, is married and has two children. Emaline Montgall now lives at Ashford, Wash., and if she lives to see Feb. 12th will be 81 years old and in good health, and will be remembered as the wife of Rev. William Montgall. R. H. Kirkpatrick came west at the same time, lives at Drew, Oregon. Rice Anderson, of Brush Creek, lives at Orting, Wash., and the rest of the family live at Ashford, Wash., and are all married but the youngest child. I came to Montana in 1902, and came to Roy, Wash., in 1903, and was married to John Montgall, August 1, 1903. Three children have been born to our union, Leta, Voris and Dorothy. If any of Wayne wanderers happen out this way we would be glad to have you give us a call as we are more than pleased when we meet friends from old Wayne.
