Solomon Fields Crabtree Family

Solomon Fields Crabtree the son of Capt. James and Rhoda Fields Crabtree was born in 1813 at Washington Co., VA.  Solomon was 1st married to Malinda Joplin Oct. 20, 1837 in Smyth Co., VA. 

Malinda was born in 1813 at Albemarle Co., VA to Joseph & Margaret Graham Joplin.  Malinda died Oct. 15, 1858 at Rich Valley, Smyth Co., VA.  Solomon and Malinda had 7 known children.  

Solomon married a 2nd time to Martha Nichols Sep. 5, 1861 in Ashe Co., NC.  Martha Nichols was born May, 1846 in Virginia and died after 1900.  Solomon and Martha had 5 known children.  Solomon died in 1876 in Staunton Twp., Halifax Co., VA.
