Hello,
My name is Michael J. Von Gebel. I founded Faded into the Mists of Time.com in 2008 as my personal family history website; in 2009 we transitioned to become the Wayne County, IL Genealogy Website.
The contents of my page are as follows:
Paternal lines: Corcoran, Jones, Leveck, Lally, Snook, & Boolman
Dr. James H. Snook- This covers the murder trial of Dr. James H. Snook
Maternal lines: Crabtree, Hanshew, Knapp;
Maternal Wayne County lines: Hale/Haile, Cravens, & Dickey families.
These represent “snap shots” of my main family lines and represent a fraction of the photos and information that I have accumulated over the last 33 years. In addition to my own work are the donations of family members and friends which over the years have added to a rich and vibrant history.
